Define what precise means for this film
Precision begins with an agreed source and intended use. A product reveal, an installation overview and a maintenance explanation require different checks. Identify the dimensions and relationships that matter, the revision that controls the work and the reviewer who can accept it. The animation is a communication deliverable unless another purpose is explicitly scoped.
Check units and source geometry after conversion
Document the native source and the rendering export. Check a known reference dimension and component placement after import. Review whether curved surfaces, thin parts, openings or interfaces changed during mesh preparation. Any simplification affecting a required feature is returned for approval. Do not infer a tolerance from the appearance of a rendered image or the resolution of a video.
Keep modelling questions visible
If the source is a drawing package, record incomplete dimensions, conflicting views and unidentified parts. Agree on how the client resolves these before the relevant geometry is finalised. Conceptual context can be represented when it is labelled and approved. A missing technical detail should not silently become an invented dimension.
Review movement separately from appearance
Check pivot positions, travel, rotation, assembly order and component identity in a plain preview. Exploded separation, transparency and cutaways are explanatory treatments. They do not demonstrate an actual service clearance or load path. Engineering analysis, clash checks, physical simulation and approved work procedures remain with the responsible technical scope.
Use AI where the required geometry stays controlled
AI can help prepare storyboards, drafts, editing ideas and approved supporting imagery. Required model geometry is rendered and reviewed through the controlled 3D scene. Unconstrained generative video can change shapes or relationships across frames, so it is unsuitable as the sole source for a dimension-critical engineering claim. Any expressive background or illustrative effect is agreed for its intended use.
Approve the technical preview before the cinematic finish
The reviewer checks geometry, components, movement and labels before final lighting and rendering. A commercial reviewer approves the message and call to action. Final review then checks that materials, camera angles, graphics and editing still communicate the accepted technical information. French and English terms have designated reviewers when both versions are in scope.
Record the version at handoff
Deliver the agreed film formats together with the source revision reference and resolved review notes. A later design change starts with a revision assessment; it is not silently folded into an old film. No blanket tolerance, physical certification or professional design approval follows from the animation alone. Our public engineering viewer is a generic procedural demonstration, not proof of an accepted client design.
